174 Premier Guest House is proud to support Lethabo Le Khutso, a care centre for adults with autism.
In 2002, Association for Autism founded the Lethabo Le Khutso Adult Care centre in Rietondale, Pretoria. This centre was established based on a direct need in the community for full-time residential care for adults with autism. The centre was registered as a separate NGO and AFA continues to play a supportive role in the functioning in the residence in term of an advisory, fundraising and partnership capacity.
In 2005, AFA established the Abrina residence in Pretoria in order to provide more residential services to adults with autism. Abrina is on the property next to Lethabo Le Khutso. The two residences being next to each other has resulted in a dynamic partnership which allows for the sharing of services, resources and activities between the two houses. Both residences are presently full and provide residential as well as day care facilities to adults with autism.
