Pretoria Country Club
The Bom Grisdell golf course was established in 1910, and has gone on to become a landmark in Waterkloof. Visit historical sites
Opened in 2007, the Freedom Park celebrates the history and journey of South Africa. The site features an amphitheatre, a wall of names with those changed the history of the country as a space where visitors can relax .
Kruger House Museum
This is the last house that President Kruger stayed before he left South Africa for Europe. The house was built using milk instead of water, and has been turned into a museum to commerate Kruger's life.
Nature & Wildlife
Wonderboom Nature Reserve
The 200-hectare Wonderboom Nature Reserve is home to small antelope, dussies and wide range of birdlife. The nature reserve also houses a wide variety of plant life as well as a 1000 year old fig tree, after which the park is named.
Groenkloof Nature Reserve
Established in 1895, Groenklooff is Africa's first nature reserve. With a wide range of plant life, the nature reserve, located on the south of Pretoria is home to wildebeest, zeba and giraffee.
